Zeus is a male bottlenose dolphin born on 2 July 2010 at the Oltremare Park in Riccione. His parents are Blue and Micha. He is considered as the first dolphin of the second generation born in the Oltremare park and has lived with his parents and other dolphins of the family of the time such as Pelè, Candy, Cleo and Mary G. for almost four years. On 5 May 2014 he was transferred to the ZooMarine Torvaianica, near Rome. The reason for his transfer is to be considered for reproductive issues. In May 2013, in fact, Blue was pregnant again and Zeus's constant attention to her mother, still looking for breast milk, meant that Blue continued to inflict heavy harassment on Zeus in order to remove him.

How to recognize Zeus

- Zeus's rostrum is noticeably bent upwards, exactly like his mother's.

- His body tends to be quite robust.

- Its dorsal fin is sickle-shaped.

- The coloring of his skin takes on darker features on the part of the back and the part of the head, a characteristic similar to his father Micha.

Zeus's character changed dramatically with his move to ZooMarine and his subsequent growth. While in Oltremare he was very spoiled and tended to be the "brat" of the situation, now we can say that Zeus is a very curious dolphin but who has started to be independent. Upon arrival at his new home, Zeus especially bonded with a young dolphin named Thai, two years younger than him.
