INDY

Indy is a male bottlenose dolphin born on August 20, 2015 at the Genoa Aquarium. His parents are Luna and Robin. At the time of birth, his mother Luna had some problems nursing him as she tried to keep the baby away from herself. With the intervention of the team of trainers, which provided to breastfeed Indy with a preparation coming directly from the United States, Indy began to gain weight and his mother Luna also adapted to his presence and took care of him.

In October 2016, the Rimini Dolphinarium, where Indy's mother Luna once lived, began a sort of claim for its four dolphins and little Indy, continuing to name a ready moving of the calf. Decision that was to be taken only by the Review Court. Eventually, little two-year-old Indy and his father, Robin, were transferred to ZooMarine in Torvaianica. According to the Rimini structure, in fact, the ZooMarine was initially the new home for their four dolphins.

Indy, thanks to his talkative and curious character, has managed to integrate well into the group of dolphins and seems to have a deep sympathy for another young dolphin named Zeus, five years older than him.
